“Our project ‘Climate Adaptation and Biodiversity through Small-Scale Nature-Based Solutions in Cities’ has officially started.
Within the scope of the project, Berlin, Vienna, Ankara, and Košice are joining forces to address rising urban temperatures, shrinking green spaces, and biodiversity loss through small-scale nature-based solutions.
The aim of the project is to make cities cooler, greener, and more resilient — together with local communities.
Project activities will include the implementation of small-scale applications such as rain gardens, micro-forests, and green walls. In addition, nature walks, workshops, training sessions, and co-design activities will be organised. Practical “Do-It-Yourself” guidebooks will also be developed.
