A local stakeholder meeting of the Co-ADAPT Project was held in Ankara, bringing together representatives from local initiatives, and the Ankara City Council. The meeting focused on identifying priority areas and strategies for implementing small-scale nature-based solutions (NbS) in the Ayrancı neighbourhood. Key discussions highlighted the importance of improving rainwater management systems, protecting existing green infrastructure, and promoting sustainable urban practices. Participants emphasized the need for a coordinated approach involving municipalities, local organizations, and communities to ensure long-term sustainability. Potential pilot areas for NbS implementation were proposed, including sites near Portakal Çiçeği Valley and Aysel Yücetürk Anatolian High School. As next steps, a public awareness seminar on nature-based solutions was scheduled, and actions were initiated to secure land allocation for pilot implementations. The meeting also underlined the importance of integrating educational activities and community engagement into the project design.
